Welcome to Black Mountain Dog Gear. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from us. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Black Mountain Dog Gear is an independently owned online store based in Alaska, selling dog gear and related products directly to consumers.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order on this Site.
We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display our products, but we do not guarantee that colors, sizes, or details will be perfectly represented on all devices. Product availability is subject to change without notice, and we reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue any product at any time.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, including after an order has been placed, and will notify you before charging a corrected amount.
All payments are processed securely through PayPal. We do not directly collect or store your credit card or full payment information — this is handled entirely by PayPal under its own terms and privacy policy. By making a purchase, you also agree to PayPal's applicable terms of use.
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to: product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund through PayPal.
We ship orders to the address provided at checkout. Shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for non-custom products in new, unused condition. We reserve the right to refuse returns of custom-made items if we feel they can not be resold, but adjustments to sizing & fit will always be made. Refunds, when approved, will be issued to the original payment method through PayPal. To make a return or exchange please contact us first for return instructions. Any item returned with significant dog hair on it will incur a $5.00 cleaning fee
We do not require you to create an account or maintain a stored customer database. Order and shipping information you provide at checkout is used only to fulfill your order and is processed primarily through PayPal. See our Privacy Policy for details.
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of Black Mountain Dog Gear or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to disrupt or compromise the Site's security, or to submit false or fraudulent orders.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Mountain Dog Gear shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products purchased, including but not limited to product misuse. Products are intended for use as described; always supervise pets when introducing new gear.
Products are sold "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not make any warranties beyond those required by applicable consumer protection law, including Alaska law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
